Job Description

Provide high-level administrative support to the public health Director of Finance and the Director of Public Health Practice. Assist with the day-to-day functioning of the office.  Answer phones and directs all incoming calls to appropriate party promptly and efficiently.  Assist with generating division contracts between public health and various organizations utilizing the electronic contract management system.  Process physician pay claim certificates for contractual physicians for services rendered at various health department clinics.  Responsible for the requisitioning of goods and services need for the department and initiating purchase order adjustments when applicable.   

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • Demonstrated 3 to 5 years of related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills including ability to present results and interact with executive staff.
  • Valid Indiana driver’s license.
